UltraTech Cement Limited is the cement flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. A USD 7.9 billion building solutions powerhouse, UltraTech is the largest manufacturer of grey cement and ready-mix concrete (RMC) in India. It is also one of the leading players in the white cement segment in India. It is the third largest cement producer in the world, excluding China. UltraTech is the only cement company globally (outside of China) to have 100+ MTPA of cement manufacturing capacity in a single country. The Company’s business operations span UAE, Bahrain, Sri Lanka and India.
UltraTech has a consolidated capacity of 137.85 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) of grey cement. UltraTech has 23 integrated manufacturing units, 29 grinding units, one Clinkerisation unit and 8 Bulk Packaging Terminals. In the white cement segment, UltraTech goes to market under the brand name of Birla White. It has one White Cement unit and three Wall Care putty unit, with a current capacity of 1.98 MTPA. With 230+ Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plants in 100+ cities, UltraTech is the largest manufacturer of concrete in India. It also has a slew of speciality concretes that meet specific needs of discerning customers. Ordinary potland cement (Opc)
Product Name : Ultra Tech OPC 42.5 Cement
Comply to standard : ASTM C-150 Type – I
BS EN 197-1: 2011 CEM 1
Ordinary Portland cement is one of the most commonly used types of cement with a strength of 42.5. OPC cement can be used in all kinds of masonry, plastering works, block manufacturing, readymix concrete, pre-cast.
Sulphate Resistant Cement (SRC)
Product Name : Ultra Tech SRC 42.5 Cement
Comply to standard : ASTM C150 Type -V
BS 4027: 1996. 42.5N
SRC is a type of Portland cement in which the quantity of Tri calcium aluminates (C3A) is less than 3.5%. The use of SRC has proved beneficial, particularly In conditions where there is a risk of damage to the concrete due to Sulphate Attack. Can be used in readymix concrete, precast, block manufacturing, foundation works, piling works, projects near coastal area, water
tank.
Portland Limestone Cement(PLC )
Product Name : Ultra Tech PLC 32.5 Cement
Comply to standard : BS EN 197-1: 2011 CEM II/B-LL
The high purity limestone is inter-ground with Portland clinker along with Gypsum to produce Portland Limestone Cement standard of strength Class 32.5. This cement may contain Limestone up to 35%. Can be used in Plastering works, Masonary works & Screed works
GGBFS: (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag)

GGBFS can be combined with Portland cements (CEM-I) in the concrete mixer to produce a
superior quality of concrete for all major constructions projects. It helps in achieving lower W/C ratio;
high early and later age strength. The durability of concrete is highly increased with the
incorporation in concrete. Concrete made with Combination of cement and Star Cement GGBFS
will significantly reduce the rise in temp in large concrete pours which reduces the risk of early age
thermal cracking.
MSRPC: (Moderate Sulphate Resisting Portland Cement)
Comply to standard : BSEN 197-1: 2011 CEM
ASTM C-150 : 2012 TYPE-II
MSRPC is manufactured with low alkali content. The Tri Calcium Aluminate (C3A) content is between 5 and 8% and the total alkali,Na2O+0.658K2O does not exceed 0.60%
