Cement Business of Aditya Birla Group has extended its presence in overseas by acquiring Star Cement Company LLC, which is one of the leading Cement Manufacturer in UAE. Star Cement is a strategic business unit. UltraTech Cement Middle East Investments Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of UltraTech Cement Limited, part of Aditya Birla Group. With an annual cement production capacity of 4.80 million tons per annum, Star Cement continue to serve all major reputed Ready-mix Companies, building, contracting companies and other industries such as Precast Factories, Block, and Interlock Factories etc. Star Cement LLC was incorporated on 19th December 2001, as an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company in the United Arab Emirates. In 2010, it went on to become part of UltraTech Cement. Star Cement thrives on values “integrity, commitment, passion, seamlessness, and speed” to manufacture and market high quality cement and clinker. Infusing both these brands’ attributes, Star Cement now markets all its products under UltraTech Cement. Star Cement has emerged as a major premium cement manufacturer in the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean Rim. With the ultramodern Clinkerization Unit in Ras-al-Khaimah and superior quality captive limestone mines in Fujairah, adjacent to plant, Star Cement produces over 3.0 MTPA premium high C3S clinker to satisfy customers across the Indian Ocean Rim and the Persian Gulf. Star Cement has three agile Grinding plants in UAE, Ajman Cement Factory, with 1.1 Million Tons per annum capacity, Arabian Cement Industry, with 1.40 Million Tons per annum capacity and Star Super Jebel Ali plant with 2.30 million tons per annum capacity. . All Star Cement’s units are equipped with modern state-of- art world – class manufacturing technologies, enabling to give our customers, the best products and services. It manufactures various ASTM, BSEN standard grades along with special grades based on customer or structural requirement.
Our cement has been used in most of the iconic structures in UAE like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Airport, Dubai Airport Tunnel, Dubai Metro, Dubai Palm Island, Dubai Marina, Abu Dhabi Airport, Abu Dhabi Presidential palace, and Reem Island etc.
